Cohort 16, after having spent the last 6 months at NIAS HQ completing their classroom and driving training, now move on to Operational duties in Divisions across Northern Ireland supported by colleagues and Divisional Education Teams. They have been an enthusiastic, motivated and kind group of students who we will miss at HQ and we wish them every success for their future careers. They will work on emergency ambulances in their local communities.
Two students were selected by the teaching faculty for the “Alistair Barr award” for “Top Student” – Rachel McGarrity & Chris Cummings
The “Tommy Glenfield Endeavour Award” was given to Adam Shiels for overall contribution to the cohort, overall improvement, as well as continued personal and professional development.
