Help Improve Access to Public Defibrillators in Ards & North Down

27th March 2026

Have you ever accessed a public access defibrillator?

We are inviting people from the Ards and North Down community to take part in local community improvement with NIAS and the council which is focused on improving access to public access defibrillators in your area.

Have you ever accessed a public access defibrillator, struggled to locate one, or weren’t sure what to do with it afterwards? Your lived experience is incredibly valuable. We are looking for volunteers to take part in a brief telephone interview to help us figure out better ways to support the public in returning these life-saving devices to their guardians.

Your story can help ensure that when the next emergency happens, a defibrillator is exactly where it needs to be.

If you would like to be involved in the project or share your experience, please email or sign up using the link/QR code.

Interested? Please contact us on the link below and we’ll get in touch with the details.
