This week we celebrate the incredible teams behind the scenes—our Ambulance Control staff. They are the calm voices in chaos, the expert coordinators of emergency care, and the vital link between the public and frontline responders.
Their dedication, skill, and resilience save lives every single day. We’re proud to honour their work and thank them for the critical role they play in keeping our communities safe.
We held two EOC Recognition events this past week to celebrate our incredible team, presenting certificates for Cardiac Lifesavers, delivery of babies and of course our EMD of the Year – Kevin McNally, Control Officer of the Year – Adrian Steele, EMD Supervisor of the Year – Rachel Egerton Smedley and RPCC person of the Year – Conor Pierce.
This year we also gave out our first award for 500 High Compliant 999 calls to Nikki McAuley. Well done to everyone for all your hard work throughout the year!
