Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) staff frequently visit schools and community groups across all HSC Trust areas.
These visits enable us to engage with communities on a range of issues, including:
- how our service is delivered;
- appropriate use of our service;
- respect for our staff;
- careers within the service.
Community Education Visits, as of May 2024, are currently on hold until further notice and no longer taking further requests.
We would ask that you request your visit at least four weeks in advance of your preferred date and we will confirm our attendance no later than seven days before the event.
These visits are carried out by operational staff and are always dependent upon their availability and the operational needs of the service on a daily basis. Should we need to cancel a visit on a particular date, we will reschedule for an agreed date.
