31st May 2024
There is a long history of volunteer involvement in The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Trust. On this Volunteer’s Week (3-9 June 2024) we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our valued volunteers. NIAS continues to welcome new volunteers to join us to provide a high quality Voluntary Car Service that volunteers feel proud and happy to be involved with and which puts patients first.
APPLY NOW for our Voluntary Car Driver Role to use your own car to pick up and drop off our non-emergency mainly walking patients to and from their health and care appointments. Applications are particularly welcome from those volunteers who live:
- In the Northern HSC trust area: Newtownabbey, Ballymena, Antrim, Ballymoney, Carrickfergus, Larne & surrounding areas and
- In the Southern Trust area: in Newry, Craigavon, Portadown, Armagh, Dungannon, Banbridge & surrounding areas.
