“My name is Becky Steele, I joined the Ambulance Service initially as an Ambulance Cadet in 1992 and currently based in Emergency Ambulance Control (EAC) within NIAS as the EAC Manager.
Throughout my career I have been afforded opportunity to develop and I am very proud to be in my current role working within the EAC supporting a highly skilled and valued workforce who provide a critical role within NIAS to support our patients.
As a female manager in the ambulance service/EAC, I am proud on #InternationalWomensDay, celebrating the invaluable contributions of women everywhere, and within our service who empower, inspire and uplift each other today and everyday. Today lets recognise and appreciate the dedication, resilience and expertise of women working within the emergency services and beyond.”
